Hi, my name is Tanya and I absolutely love books and I am passionate about learning, I have many years of experience in the education sector and have a unique perspective on communication and language development. I have always loved languages and teaching in international schools, has really helped me appreciate the complexities on the English language. My own daughter was born tongue-tied and this has had many implications on her communication, speech and language development. Being a mother and a teacher it was only natural for me to research about how I could help my daughter. Unfortunately there was not much help available in my local area. I did find specialist classes, but they did not run regularly and were over 40 minutes away! But then ...I discovered Reading Fairy! I immediately knew this was special. The classes break learning down and targets specific ages/ability levels and support communication and language development as well as early reading skills, all through fun filled sessions!
