Reading Fairy MK

Hello! I am so excited to be able to draw on all my previous experience and passions, and channel them into this amazing programme! I began my working life as a community and education theatre practitioner - working primarily on youth theatre projects. I then entered the world of education as a teaching assistant, skip forward a few years (and various job roles within education) and I gained a PGCE in Secondary English (with QTS) and began working in a wonderful middle school , teaching 9-13 year olds. I then left education to work for the fabulous Sophie Lamming of Baby Sensory Milton Keynes and heard all about Reading Fairy and went to a class with my then nearly 2 year old daughter - as much as I adored my time with Baby Sensory ... It was clear straight away that Reading Fairy was a bit of me! But then the world changed - and I returned to teaching in a local primary school - but I had caught the Reading Fairy bug and was determined to bring these brilliant classes to the children and toddlers of Milton Keynes. I adore books, story telling, bubbles, talking, rhymes, songs, puppets … all of which you will find in our classes. I am a mum-of-one to a 4 year old, , who shares my love of books, make believe, dressing up and songs! I cannot wait to share the magic of Reading Fairy and her friends with you all!
