Qualifications- Qualified Reading Fairy Class Leader. PGCE Primary with Qualified Teacher Status. Ancient History and Archaeology BA Hons (First Class). Experience- I am a mum of three and an experienced primary school teacher having worked in Stockport and Manchester schools for the past 18 years. The majority of my teaching career has been spent in Reception and Year 1. I have been both Early Years Foundation Stage and Literacy Leader and have always loved the way books and reading brings all learning to life. While on maternity leave with my youngest, I attended Baby Sensory Stockport classes. Both myself and my little one loved the classes and it was clear to see the knowledge and expertise behind the programme. While attending these class, I heard about the Reading Fairy programme and its focus on nurturing a love of reading. I knew straight away it was for me! I am extremely excited to be starting on this journey and hope that many of you and your little ones will be able to join me.
