What is Reading Fairy?

• Reading Fairy has been developed by early reading experts and lays the foundations for learning to read through play, singing and rhymes, sounds and phonics, performance/sensory story telling and so much more.
• Suitable for ages 1-5.
• Weekly 45minute fun packed classes that run in term time.
• Above all the classes are fun and engaging and offer you the chance to spend quality uninterrupted time with your child.

Reading Fairy classes are progressive, growing with your child making them developmentally appropriate.

Stage 1 - Toddler Tales (Age 1+)  encourages early language and literacy

Stage 2 - Story Stars (Age 2+) explores letters and sounds for early reading fun

Stage 3 - Reading Recruits (Ages 3-5) prepares your child for learning to read at school

The classes are structured around Five lovable characters that represent the essential building blocks for learning to read. The children will grow used to the class routine allowing them space to grow in confidence and feel comfortable.

Reading Fairy - She loves stories and storytelling

Phonic Fox - Uses phonics to help children make links between letters and sounds

Chat Cat - Develops their communication, listening and talking skills

Music Mouse - Sings nursery rhymes which are key to developing early literacy and oral skills

Book Bear - Loves to share books inspiring and nurturing a love of reading.
