Welcome to Reading Fairy Swindon! We bring fun, interactive and progressive classes to 1 to 5 year olds and their parents or carers - helping your child to develop all the skills needed to love reading for life.
Our Autumn term begins on 8th and 9th September, running on Wednesdays and Thursdays in two fantastic venues: Western Community Centre and Redhouse Community Centre, both easily accessible by car or bus with a free car park.
All classes include songs and nursery rhymes; letter and sound recognition (phonics); imaginative storytelling; language development; and book time. Please see below for information about the different developmental stages, and to book your place. A two class trial is available for all new families (please select this before checkout).
Summer Story Events: LIMITED SPACES LEFT We have classes throughout August which celebrate popular children's books in fun 45 minute sessions, which also include a craft activity. These all-age classes are suitable for the whole family. Siblings under 12 months or age 5-8 are welcome too - please just let Clare know after you have booked.
Toddler Tales: for children aged 12 to 24 months, this class develops early literacy skills with a focus on animals and their sounds, interactive stories and early communication skills.
Story Stars: this is for children aged 2 to 3 years. This class develops letter and sound recognition (phonics), sensory stories with actions, language development, listening skills and more.
Reading Recruits: for children aged 3 to 4 years, this high energy class is a perfect way to prepare both you and your child for starting school, giving them the skills they need to thrive in the classroom.
