GET SET FOR SCHOOL

Is your little one starting school in September?  Are you thinking about 'school readiness' and how to support them with this transition?

During the summer break we will be running our Get Set For School programme.

This 1 week course helps to support you and your little one to be 'school ready'.  We look at key literacy skills and the wider Early Years curriculum, we explore practicalities such as recognising their name and getting dressed and also support with emotional readiness, managing feelings and staying healthy.  All this is done with the support of our 5 lovable characters who scaffold our action-packed sessions and ensure your child is fully engaged as they sing, read, perform and play their way to learning key skills.

During the sessions, as well as using many props, bubbles, songs and games we use a beautiful workbook.  This is then for you to take home and continue the learning at home. It has additional tips and ideas for helping with the transition too.

BOOK FESTIVAL

We will also be running some family specials throughout the summer break as part of our Book Festival.  Topics will include Woof  Woof WOW, The Enormous Honey Pot and We're going on a Shark Hunt!
